GUN CONTROL
A debate that has recently arose again is gun
control in the USA. Every time a shooting happens, the population questions if
guns should really be controlled. According to the USA’s laws, a gun can be
sell even to a person with mental problems. This supposes a problem due to the number
of fatal shootings in this country is the biggest compared with other countries
that control gun selling. Some people agree with this control meanwhile other
people are against it and don’t consider it necessary. In my opinion, it is
indispensable to control guns in the USA. I find it extremely disturbing how many
governments have ignored this huge issue along the history. Many demonstrations
have been made and are being made currently with no results until this day. The
saddest thing is that the probabilities for this law to be changed are almost non-existent.
Not only the actual president is against allowing a gun control law, but also, he
proposed to solve this problem by using more guns. It is really saddening to
see this situation nowadays, considering the numerous shootings that have
already happened. I guess humans really don’t learn from their mistakes or
simply that the government doesn’t care about the population at all. Or it
could be both. All in all, gun control should be imposed in the USA to avoid
many unnecessary deaths but those that are able to change the situation just won’t
help.
