During the last months of 2017, women from all the globe have started to speak up about their sexual harassment experiences appealing to the feminist movement 'Me too.' This movement came up from women's tiredness towards the discrimination we suffer, since we women, are discriminated by men everyday just for having been born women. And thanks to this movement, thousands of women have felt relieved, since they have finally been able to narrate their personal experiences.
I believe that movements like this one are extremely necessary for women to be united and fight together, and support each other. Support is always important, and not only from women but also from men. Because in the feminism movement there is a majority of women, but there are also men. If there were no feminist men I would have no faith in humanity. So, if you feel like telling your stories do not be afraid and share it, you will feel better after it even though it may hurt while speaking up about them.
All in all, feminism has become stronger than ever in the last year, and we have to keep it up. Every responsible person must get involucrated in one way or another so we can improve our society to enjoy a better present, and leave a better future for our children.
